For Fun.

Some random pictures from the past week. Chris found that tulip in our back yard and he looved it! I liked the raindrops you can still see on it too. And of course the pictures of Chris biting Joshua while he's devouring his toy is just so funny to me. Love it all!

Finals Week..Blah!

Those dreaded words that one must never utter or else your mind just goes insane... Yeah, that's this week. And I know I'm being such a winner because really, I have it sooo easy. I only have three written finals total and I finished my first this morning. (It only took an hour which made it a blessed day...and blast my memory on forgetting about stupid Watteau.) It's that thriving thought in the back of your mind that is the only thing getting you through the annoyance of cramming..well that's the way it is for me anyways because I have this disease that if I space my studying it'll kill me, instead I like to stay up late, wake up early and try to push as much in as possible so that right when I leave the room after the test I forget everything I know about dates and titles. (Plus it's the paintings that matter anyways right?)
Last night Chris was blatantly avoiding studying for his Art History final today and I just couldn't help but adoring him while he did. It's so funny watching him when I know he doesn't want to do something. He tries to find every project he can that he thinks he can get done in a reasonable amount of time and then he spends a great deal of time on it :) I freaking love the man. While I kept taking my study breaks and took a stroll into the bathroom to watch him patch the sheetrock I couldn't help but think how fantastic he is for doing all of this for us. What a great person he is for trying to do the house, school, get ready for Italy and spend all this time with me. Seriously, the guy is invincible.
So basically, all I have to say is...finals blow bubbles and that life is so freaking great.

ps. those are our blossoms right out our door. We had a centipede the size of a cat in our kitchen, but Virginia flowers try their best to make up for the ugliest bugs created.

DC and Joshua

Last weekend we were able to go up to DC to check out the National Art Gallery and then watch Joshua as Cami and Tyson were in the Temple. Chris and Joshua bonded and once Cami and Tys got back the poor kid was so tired he almost fell asleep in the grass. Such a cute chunk.
