Last December

I was going through my pictures and I found a bunch that I'd taken last Christmas when the fam and I were up in Oregon. Such good memories and I had some cute pictures of Carmel and Chanson I wanted to put up that I've never gotten a chance to show :) We all took turns taking the pictures, some of them aren't very crisp, but they're cute. We had a good time on our walk in Oregon... I miss that place

The answer!

Well, Utah didn't exactly work out, but hopefully Delta will shape up one day:) Until then, we'll try and find a different airline to fly us West side.

Besides that: I think everyone gave cool interpretations to the massive jewelry overload and eyes for the photo class. My professor wasn't a huge fan of the jewelry picture all together, he wanted to just crop it to my face, which looked cool, but it lost a bit of the meaning I was going for. Each jewelry piece was given to me from a family member, and it represents the story I had with them at the time. I thought it was pretty cool, but it's pretty hard to figure that one out too:) And of course the eyes were somewhat of what Paula had commented on, how everyone sees everything differently. Plus I think Chris' eyes look really cool in the sunlight. The b&w photo looks like a ying yang between our faces, which I wasn't going for at all, but ended up really cool to me, that was my favorite.

Anywho, thanks for being fun and commenting on it. Spam took some really cute ones of her and Josh too for the assignment that turned out really well:)

And if you want to know the stories behind all the jewelry I'll give a quick backround, if you're not interested: click on cami's link and check out her pictures. hehe, love you all!

All the pearls are from my mom, the diamonds from chris of course:) pink stone is from Carmel and the Lock is from Ammon they gave them to me last Christmas when I got pretty close to them, flowers are from Grams for my 16th birthday, thumb ring is chris' wedding ring, the middle ring is from Yancee from Peru, pinky ring is my great grandma, gobby's wedding ring from when she eloped with pappy when they were 17(aw love), the long necklace is from when i went shopping with KJ and Chanson, (are still two of my best shopping partners). One earing is what I wore for the wedding, other is one cami picked out with me, one bracelet is from my cousin Sarah and Aunt Susan, the purple one is from nana before she died. Some long explainations, but I love all of the stories behind them.

Utah

Well...the unexpected happened. Grams ended up in the hospital this past week and things aren't looking hot. I should take that back..things look great in her eyes so we hear, she can't wait to get out of here :) The rest of us are bummed, but luckily, (and thanks to dad's master sky miles) Spam, Josh and I are heading out to Utah tomorrow morning...well this morning at 4am. poops. So we're off the the mormon land! It'll be fun to see the older bros and wives, but we won't have our hubbies with us so that's a sad story...hope we survive that torture:)

Wish us luck and pray for Gram Cracker!

Um...And since this is a family website and we've told basically half of you, figured some sad news should have some exciting news as well. We are, as Chelle has put it, investing in the human growing business. That's right, patch came off last week and we're wanting ourselves a wee babe!

So any suggestions of what to do when we have a bit of scare spells ( i.e., money, we're in school still, thinkin "holy macaral, we're gunna have a kid someday sooner then later!") That would be nice from you experienced folk :) Love you lots!

sometimes...our minds do fun things !

So..This past week Spam and I were assigned a task in our photography class. We were to take a self portrait and in it we were suppose to show some character of ourselves; hobbies; likes and dislikes; etc etc. Well of course Chris had to be in all of them in some way so we took a bunch of testers to figure out a good way to portray myself...It took us awhile to come up with something that wasn't common (I knew all the girls in my class would use a basketball or some normal crap like that :) only teasing...sort of) But we finally came up with the jewelry idea. It looks a bit silly and mind you this is just my first time taking a photo class. But the symbolism and crap behind it is actually kind of cool. I want to see if anyone will get what I'm trying to say in the picture and later we shall reveal our secrets! :)
