Real pictures! finally, we haven't really had time to take pictures of her with our real camera, it's nice to have some that aren't just cell phone cameras and my handy dandy point n' shoot. And yes...Our entire blog has been transformed into the Zuri blog. Deal with it.

Our little bird

She just reminds me of a little chubby bird, I love it. I was trying to get her sticking out her tongue, maybe another time. Dad V. maybe you can help put a real birds name to her face!?

She also does great hand gestures, hopefully she'll be good with sign language as she gets older. That'd be neat.

week 2

Here we are rolling on week two of the parent life. It's been fun! Chris' mom and dad took care of Zuri last night so Chris and I got a whole 8 hours of sleep, it was amazing! I didn't think it was possible to give your kid up for a night, I felt like I was abandoning her when we went to bed, but it was deeply appreciated to have a nice long sleep. The following pics are from my older point and shoot so their not the best quality, but she's changed so much since she's been born I had to record it somehow.
