Oh Hello,

Hi friends,

Remember us? It's true, we do exist.

I'm glad we had two kids so close together, although I feel like poor D gets jipped a bit.  That's just how it goes once you give your first kid a sibling.  She's such a good sport.

Speaking of D, she started to crawl...when was it? (see what I mean? You'd know the exact time with your first child) I think about 3 weeks ago? She's cruising all over the place now it's so fun to watch.  A very mechanical crawl.  She looks like one of those toy babies. She loves walking while we hold her hands, she's got quite a groove already.

Z is a snuggler now.  So weird cause she wasn't much of one until D came about.  I love when Chris comes home, it lights up her world and she won't leave him alone the rest of the night.  Those two are quite a duo.

Zuri has this beanie baby flamingo my dad got for her last year.  (He's lamb's right hand man)  She calls him 'ducky' regardless of my efforts explaining to her that it is indeed a flamingo, not a duck.  Who cares? it's hilarious.

Both girls were purely insane this past week.  They got sick....It's like all hell breaks loose when kids are sick, wouldn't you agree?  They are doing much better now thankfully.

I'm trying to be brave and ambitious these days.  I'll wake up early(sometimes), work out, get ready for the day and when the girls wake up I just have to get them ready if we are going somewhere.  Very handy and I'm a much happier mama.  (We've recently discovered that exercise is my key to feeling much better about myself and much much more patient. Well to be honest it keeps the crazy Kenni away). It's awesome, until I get the wave of exhaustion in the early afternoon.  Oh man, it's killer.  It gives me lots of sympathy for Chris waking up early everyday.

CC (Zuri's 7 year old cousin) has taught her Ring Around the Rosie.  She is currently reenacting it with Lamb and Ducky, I'm thoroughly enjoying the emerging imagination phase.  I've been taking the girls to a music class once a week, Zuri has learned a lot in the past few weeks.  She's growing up and that is so strange to me.

What cute little girls we have.
