Dedicated to my Sugar Pie!

It's officially been one year since Chris and I got married and I'd just like to say it's been the greatest year of my wee 20 year life. I love you, honey buns.

Huzza! I am so happy for you guys! I love anniversaries, wedding and anything to do with "cuddlebutt" things as Chris would say. By the way, I am home and bored too, so you should come over!

So sweet. Chris, you're getting really cheesy.
I wish I could say "I am home and bored too, come over" because I am, but you can't. Well, we'll have to catch up when you guys come for Steve's wedding.

You guys are so cute! Happy anniversary!! Happy Spring Break! Kenni, does your Walmart have a fabric section? Cause that's where I get most of my stuff. Haha! It's cheap!

p.s. It's Hazel. It's not really a secret, I just don't want to hear anyone say mean things about it because I love it. :) I'm just too sensitive!

no I love Hazel! We're naming our first boy Darwin...We've gotten a lot of laughs on that one already :) But I think Hazel is awesome!

Walmart does...I've walked through a couple times, but I may need to dig a little more :) Thanks for the tip!

happy 1st.

About Pix--Leilani is really the expert Photag--I just play around but I do know that having nice lenses makes a HUGE difference in getting "that look" you are talking about.

She used a 50 mm 1.2 lens on those pix of us and that is a very very sweet lens that is quite popular with "that look" of portrait photography because you get that awesome depth of field but they are quite sensitive to focus and get used to so they take practice. We have a 50 mm 1.8 and that is a cheaper lens but you really need a 1.8 or greater for a decent depth of field. The 50 mm 1.2 for a canon is 1,400 buckaroos so we are saving up for our next lens. But if you are going to do a wedding you would need something with that smaller f-stop.

Also, I would go onto some wedding photog sites and check out the sorts of poses etc. I don't know what their style is but Jonathan Canlais is who Leilani has studied under and he is wicked. He has a website.

nice lens is a key :)
