Utah

At the end of December I got to go on a very quick trip to Utah to see one of my best friends get married.  It was so so great to see her, I hadn't since I got married almost 5 years ago.

Salt Lake City Temple

Oquirr Temple

Me, Kate, and Sadie were constantly together before I moved to Cali when I was 16. They're wonderful ladies.

I got to see my Oldest brother, Yancee, his wife, Kimmy, and their two little sons, Carstyn, and Quintyn.  Also so so wonderful to see them it had been over a year.

I got pretty sick while I was there and by the time I got home I had lost my voice and my head felt like it was going to explode, luckily I had a great time so it was worth it.

Thanksgiving

I got these posts mixed up, but
Chris took a few great shots on Thanksgiving while on our way to the family Pinapple Guava hunt.

Winter

Chris took these first two pictures of Dorothy about a month ago.  She's our pretty baby that's growing up.

We have been experiencing a few days of very cold weather (for Oregon) Lots of frost and ice around the farm.  I love the beauty, not so much the cold.. So naturally we took the girls on a icy Sunday walk.  Chris took all of these photos, I love them.

note the proof that I am indeed an Instagram junky...

Halloween

Halloween.  I didn't get awesome pictures of D in the 'Dairy Queen' costume. Both the girls look awesomely adorable, although I am incredibly bias.

Oh and have I mentioned that Dot turned 1 September 14th?  Yeah, that happened.  We didn't have a big party so nothing was really well documented.  Sorry kid. More evidence that the second kid gets skimmed.  I feel real sorry for #3. (no we aren't pregnant.)

Tiffany and Bryan

Chris and I were able to take pictures for this handsome family.  Perfect Oregon day for a wedding.

Young Z

I found this video in a very unsorted folder of pictures.  It made me so happy to see little Zuri.  This was her at about 18/19 months right after we moved to Oregon.  It hit me how much she's grown up since D was born and how fast my babies have and will become kids.  It also makes me really miss this awesome tent (bummer it got recalled.)  hmm...Christmas is coming up isn't it?

(Don't mind Chris on the phone in the back... He's a hard workin man :)  )

San Diego

Chris and I got to go to San Diego in August to shoot a wedding.  Cassie (the bride) is my brother-in-law, Tyson's, little sister.  I sort of just consider the Coopers family anyways.... It was so much fun, and so exhausting.  We got to see Cami, Tyson, their boys, and my 'adopted' sister, Abby, and her family.  It was so so wonderful to see them.  I finished up their video today so instead of posting pictures I figured this would do.  Mind you, Chris and I are not professionals we just enjoy the gig, and this was my first time doing video.  We forgot a tripod and didn't have a better mic for the camera, but it still worked!
