We got ourselves some smiles!

Apparently I've had a lot of time this weekend to put up a bundle of posts. It's like I rediscovered that I had a camera or something. I've said it about eight times now, but I she is the best at bath time, and I had Chris record her today cause it's one of her most smiley times.

Please try to ignore my creepy mom voice. Chris said it's a good thing that I did weird voices before I was a mom so it was easy for me to transition into this. .. yup, it's true, thanks honey :)

What did we do before camera phones?

Just cause she looks like a nephite when I put headbands on her, but it's so cute in person. And look at the size of that belly! It's seriously the best how perfectly plump she is.
She gets so happy and excited when she first gets in the water, but of course right when she sees me holding my phone up at her she just stares at it, having no intention to smile anymore. poop.

She was hangin out on Chris' knees the other night. I got a video, but Chris and his friend were talkin' and you can't hear her talking. Sorry the picture is horribly blurry, she was like a little chipmunk though it was rad.




I would also like to extend a thank you to the fam and friends who have donated they're cute past baby girl clothes or new baby girl clothes (all of which are fantastic) so that I can dress Zur up everyday...which so happens to be my favorite activity, yup, picking out what she'll wear...That's what my life has come to and I can openly say I enjoy it :)

Cause it's been awhile.

My battery died on my camera and I kept forgetting to charge it until today, so here are some more recent pictures of ze babay. She's starting to smile a lot more, thank goodness, cause it's so stinkin cute when she does. But then again, when is it not cute when a baby smiles? Still...it's a different kind of cute when it's your own so I hear, and now I testify. We have some of her one month and two month on Chris' camera, I'll try to get those up soon!
This video is from about a month ago, she can hold her self up a lot better now, and the video isn't very exciting, but it's mostly just to show the fam that doesn't get to see her much how she's doin.

The Mays

Yesterday I went with Ben and Mary to do some engagement photos. It was fun to work with the left over snow. I really liked doing the street shot. There was a little too much traffic to be standing in the middle of the intersection, but I think it was worth it. Any way.... enjoy.

Sounds pretty sad, but I bought this hat when I was a teenager...A young teenager. And luck would have it, my first kid was a girl, and she was born in the winter. It was meant to be!

Oh thank goodness!

I would like to thank Chelle for letting us borrow her little miracle blanket. It swaddles lil' Zur perfectly and it has worked wonders. The past two night she has slept about 7 hours straight...It's been an extra happy few days. I'm sure Chris was getting worried about my insane mood swings from not having any sleep...I tend to get a little more then crazy. He's a good man for dealing with me so gently.

We have pictures, but they are not on my computer...Baby girl is already a month and a half it's so insane! She's starting to smile lots more and stays awake with us a lot longer during the day and she loves to snuggle with Chris...still. She's a good little baby.

The past few days we've gotten a taste of what it would be like to have two dogs. Our friends had their baby boy, Mack, (yes, awesome name) on Saturday morning and we did a dog swap with them for when the babies were born. Poe is a little doxin I believe, she's been pretty fun and Kelso just LOVES her. It's been very entertaining to see them together, I'm almost contemplating getting another dog just so Kelso has a buddy, the poor guy has been neglected since child 2 came along, but he's been great about her. So I'm not sure why I'm sharing all of this information with you...I'm bored while Zur is sleeping and I don't have to go to work today..
