Been a While

So I was going to write a bunch of stuff, but after I started to re-read what I wrote and thought to myself " What am I doing? It's disgustingly late, and I sound like a woman" so here are some photos of my two favorite girls.

A mom day....that's not actually a mom day..

Tomorrow I'm going to the National Art Museum in D.C. with the art students at SVU. It's required of course, but it is an awesome museum, I recommend going there for sure. Only thing is, it's my first trip to D.C. without Chris, and that means without Zuri too. It's the longest I've been away from the little munchkin, and I'm a little worried. I shouldn't at all, Chris and her will have a blast together tomorrow and have some serious daddy-daughter time, but I'm a mom, and what does a mom do without her baby?

Any suggestions on how to cope? I guess I'll be mostly distracted all day doing art sheesh, but any words of advice/wisdom/tips etc by the pro moms' out there would be great.

Meanwhile! Zuri was up on the couch while I was sitting on the floor playing on the computer and this is what she started doing to me, i couldn't stop laughing it was so funny, she was rolling everywhere.

Chubby

My littlest brother, Ammon, (aka Chubby) has always been the cause of laughter in my fam. This past week my parents and the two youngest moved up to Washington, this is Ammon's facebook status:

"I'm afraid a vampire is gonna jump me everytime I walk outside up here. And every shirtless jogger in actually a fuzzy wolf inside"

He is seriously the best entertainer I will ever know.

Anytime we take Kelso with us Zuri has to hold his leash, if she even gets a glimpse of the blue thing she will reach, wiggle and squeal until we give it to her. She's got a grip though, she rarely ever drops it, even when she's in the stroller and Kelso's tuggin away she won't let it go. Impressive really. Chris took this at the last soccer game. She's pretty cute, I love her pouty little lips.

I get Zuri all girlied up for church every Sunday in a headband/bow and shoes (she doesn't wear shoes too often so it's obviously just so exciting to me) I should take a picture of how cute she is all dressed up.

...by second hour it turns to a headband in tow and shoes make her slip so those are long gone.

by third hour she's exhausted, but just wants to roll around which then leads to a grouchy Zuri for me and late naps which equals late bedtimes. Oh well, she's cute.

Meanwhile, I've discovered that the student ward building has a mothers lounge. awesome! The building is brand new and of course, who else has kids except the bishopric wives? Well for now I'm the only one with a baby :) Lucky me!

The other night was laundry folding. I normally fold the sheets last and this just became a whole new amazing game for Zuri of course. She went at this for at least an hour before she wore herself out for bed. She's doing it again as we speak. (read/type, whatever)

aaand I didn't want to tell everyone yet, but low and behold I have a husband who just can't contain himself when it comes to good news (it's sweet how excited he gets) so he's already told a bunch of people. Hopefully everything goes smoothly, it's still pretty early....

I'm pregers. Suprise! yup, it was for us too.

Zuri and Mack have been womb buddies from the beginning. I got to watch Mack today and Chris took some cute pictures of them together. I get the biggest kick out of them both. For some reason whenever we say their names people thing we are saying "Suri" and that Mack's parents are saying "Max" So here are Max and Suri. nice.
