The greatest big sis...

Yup, that's right my one and only big sister, Cami. (or mentioned in previous posts as none other then Spam).

I'm not very good with writing, don't judge me.

Cami and I have always been best friends...minus the whole "I hate you, I wish I had a different sister" phase as children of course. She's three years older and has always been there for me, even when she lives 3,000 miles away. She left for Virginia when I was 15 and we didn't talk too much while she was in school for some reason, but when I was a Senior she met Tyson and we had a nice relinking in our lives.

She and Tys were there through my many dramatic relationships my High school and Freshman year of college brought along, but when Cami got pregers with good ol' Joshua, I decided that I was in need of a change in a huge way and the way I was gunna get it was by ditching Cali (what I thought would be a temporary move) and head to VA to party with Spam, Tys and the new babe. (I didn't actually go that easily towards the end, the night before we were leaving I put up the biggest fight of my life and told my mom there was no way I would go....Well she got me by saying "go or you're on your old with life." alright fine. But thank goodness that woman knew what she needed to say to get me out here.)

Cami and Tyson were the first ones to meet Chris and of course, loved him and Cami was crazy supportive. We knew he was a keeper when the first day Chris met Cami she was in recovery from a C-section and fully exposed trying to feed Josh and Chris said something to the effect of, "it's cool, I've seen breast feeding a million times, who cares?"

Cami and Tyson were awesome and let me live with them the first half of spring semester when Chris and I were engaged so I would have to pay for the schools' housing, even though they had a brand new baby. I don't really feel like I helped much, but Cami was the best. We ate eggo's and toaster stroodles every morning before school. She was there when I got my wedding dress in the mail (really she helped me jump into the mass pile of fabric) and she was at my wedding freezing cold, with a 4 month old, in a maid of honor dress that you had to completely take off to breast feed. Trooper? I think so.

Cami was the first person I called when I found out I was first pregnant, she was there when I lost the baby and Tyson helped Chris with my blessing. Cami was there again when I got pregnant with Zuri. And of course, the first person I called when I went into labor. She stashed Kelso at their no pets allowed apartment until our friends could take him and took him back when they had to leave town. She came over Christmas morning to try and help me breast feed, and when no one else would go out in the cold to walk Kelso when I was exausted and bawling (Chris was at his brothers wedding so he has an exuse) she took him, even though her boys were exhausted and crying too).

She watched Zurber all day yesterday so Chris and I could completely move out and clean our little basement so the new folks could move in a day early. And believe me, Zuri has been no sunshine the past few days. And of course, who is letting us stay at their house while we are currently kicked out of our own home? yup, that's how great she is. Letting us eat her food, and have our sly dog steal and chew toys to bits.

She's got two super funny boys, and good tough hubby, wants to be (and is) and great writer (I love her short stories), reads ALL the time, has patients beyond belief, is shy, but can goof off and laugh unlike any other girl, loves chocolate like it's her life source, is beautiful, and has hair that we like to call "the mop."

She's my Virginian buddy, my go to girl or whatever you'd call it, and the strongest person I know, and of course she gave me the nick name, Bunk. She wins the title of best nick-namer-that-will-totally-stick-person-I've-ever-known. She never ceases to amaze my little mind. I felt like people should know how cool she is. So there you have it. Love you Spam.

And of course, I could never talk about sisterhood without mentioning my little sister, Camel (Carm-dawg) She is 13 this month and acts like she's older then me. She's beautiful and a talker, but a master baby entertainer and is so loving and giving. Love you too Mellie.

Oh Spam! I love her too! I agree with everything you said especially the part about her being a nick-namer-that-totally-sticks. I've never had a nickname stick like Kip :) And very few people still call me that.
